Julie Light is a lifelong artist who grew up in Waxahachie and Ennis, Texas and now lives in the small town of Midlothian, Texas with her husband of 19 years and 2 teenage children.  Julie has always enjoyed arts and crafts and fondly remembers learning how to sew from her talented Mom, learning macrame from her sweet Grandma Frances and trying to build a few things from wood with the help of her loving Dad, who was a home builder and land developer in the Ellis County area for over 25 years.  After her Dad passed away in 1999, Julie and her brother, Jason, operated the home building company until its relocation to Colorado in 2006.  Julie's arwork is inspired by many things and people including:  Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Jacqueline Kennedy, Coco Chanel, haute couture, Technicolor movies, Paris, the color pink, French decor, vintage fabric, paper, embellishments, her Swedish family heritage, fabulous friends, her teenage daughter, her doll collection, and her many antiques and collectibles.

Fabulous Finds began in the early 1990's when Julie and her Mom decided to design and create Victorian style artwork to sell at local craft/antique malls, craft shows and  in Country Sampler magazine.  Julie's Mom has since chosen to continue her career as a Registered Nurse but Julie continues to carry on the tradition of providing fabulous high quality, original handmade merchandise to the public.

Julie successfully operated her ebay store for four years but recently decided to close the ebay store to open her own website.  Her papier goods sold for above average prices and she maintained a loyal returning clientele while at that site.  In January 2007, (while out shopping with her Mom one day) Julie saw a fabulous set of  Paris rubber stamps at a local gift shop, and with the encouragement of her Mom, she decided to try designing and selling greeting cards and gift tags.  Her first papier goods were listed at Etsy.com in March of 2007 and were an instant success.  Her chic "crisp and clean" style is very unique and stylish and her artwork and business continue to evolve and grow.  Fabulous Finds Boutique now offers wholesale merchandise and Julie's papier goods are being sold in many fashionable boutiques, websites, and gift shows.

In the summer of 2007, Julie began designing an exlusive line of cards and tags for the long standing website Shabbyfufu.com.
Julie  is very proud and honored to be  a "Shabbyfufu Artisan".   If you love shabby, yet chic style merchandise be sure to visit Shabbyfufu.com and stop by the Pastelle Paperie to view some of Julie's fabulous papier goods.  In January of 2008, Julie was delighted to see a set of her shabby, yet chic style tags that she designed for Shabbyfufu published in Tea Time Magazine.
